GC AI is building an AI platform for in-house lawyers to improve their efficiency and effectiveness in providing legal advice, addressing the current overwhelming workload faced by legal teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production-grade web applications.
- Strong expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of React and frontend architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms (GCP).
- Track record of designing scalable backend systems.
- History of making architectural decisions that stood the test of time.
- Experience with modern ORMs (Drizzle/Prisma) and API design.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement full-stack features that blend elegant UX with robust backend systems.
- Architect scalable solutions across our entire tech stack (React, TypeScript, Node.js).
- Shape our technical direction, making crucial decisions about architecture and infrastructure.
- Build and optimize cloud-native systems using GCP.
- Mentor and uplift other engineers through thoughtful code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Drive innovation in both our codebase and the legal tech industry as a whole.
- Own mission-critical surfaces end-to-end—from API to UI—that lawyers use daily to review, draft, and advise.
