Airtable is looking to solve the problem of accelerating critical business processes for its customers by hiring a full stack engineer to work on new features and products.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of industry experience with modern full-stack web development
  • Fluency in one or more frontend and backend technologies
  • Interest in programming in JavaScript and React
  • Good understanding of web technologies and large-scale web application architecture
  • Background in computer science or a related field
  • Experience with AWS, Node.js, and SQL
  • Experience with React, HTML, and CSS

Responsibilities

  • Spec and build product features that are beautiful, consistent, and fast
  • Work at all levels of the stack, from AWS, Node.js, and SQL to React, HTML, and CSS
  • Partner with product managers, designers, and data scientists to understand the needs of potential users
  • Work alongside and learn from a talented group of engineers with a diverse range of experiences and backgrounds
  • Own and execute the end-to-end implementation of new features
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across product management, design, research, and data science
  • Gather requirements and discuss use cases firsthand with customers

  • Currently based and/or will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City
  • Open to coming into the office at least ~2-3 times/week for team collaboration
  • Strong convictions, weakly held and assume validation and iteration are a given to produce the best results
  • Strong ownership instincts and sweat the details
  • Believe the best product is the one that helps users accomplish their goals while growing the business
