Requirements
- 2 years of experience in computer science, data structures, algorithms and software design.
- 2 years of experience with software development in C++, Java or Rust programming languages.
- Experience programming in Kotlin.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software engineers to design, develop, maintain, and improve Protocol Buffers (Protobuf) compiler, run times, build, and release infrastructure.
- Engage in all technical aspects of development from requirements definition and design to implementation and testing often working on complex, large-scale services integral to Google's ecosystem.
- Own and drive detailed designs, code implementations, and test plan reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables that advance Protobuf capabilities.
