Wells Fargo's Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group is seeking a Software Engineer to support the design and development of their next-generation Quantitative Risk Modeling Platform for Risk Technology. This platform needs to meet challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in software development with a focus on data science applications
- 2+ years of working experience in Python API microservices components
- 2+ years of experience in building applications in public cloud (such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud)
- Working knowledge of distributed computing with PySpark
- Well versed in DevOps concepts
Responsibilities
- Support the design, architecture, development & Integration of quantitative model development and operations platforms ensuring they align with the company's strategic goals and user experience objectives
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and UX designers, to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to the deployment and monitoring of model development platform, optimizing performance, reliability, scalability, and user experience
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user feedback and iterate on product enhancements, ensuring the throughput and SLA requirements for model execution
- Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts
- Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements within the technology domain environment
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for low to moderately complex projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
