Requirements
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Golang, or similar.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
- Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
- Strong background in building and maintaining data pipelines for security-related use cases.
- Knowledge of security data management, forensic investigations, and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with site reliability engineering (SRE) principles and practices.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable software systems that facilitate comprehensive security observability across OpenAI’s infrastructure.
- Create and maintain data pipelines that aggregate security-relevant data from diverse sources into centralized repositories.
- Enhance the resilience, reliability, and availability of security data systems to support continuous monitoring and incident response.
- Collaborate with Detection & Response (D&R) and other security teams to identify, analyze, and mitigate security risks.
- Support forensic investigations by developing data engineering solutions that enable detailed security analysis and compliance reporting.
- Implement security best practices in software development and infrastructure management.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing systems to adapt to evolving security threats and technical requirements.
