Autodesk is seeking a QA Analyst to improve the quality, stability, reliability, and usability of software deliverables for the next generation of Autodesk Insight cloud service, which empowers architects and engineers to design more energy-efficient buildings.
Requirements
- Knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and testing
- Demonstrated knowledge of testing software applications
- Good understanding of internet and enterprise application technologies
- Experience with Revit and other Autodesk products in a professional capacity
- Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment
- Knowledge of cloud services and desktop applications
- Familiarity with automation testing tools
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with product management, experience design, and engineering to ensure that products, services, and capabilities are designed and created with the highest quality standards
- Develop, execute, improve, and document test plans, test cases, and test scripts to provide comprehensive and practical testing of our deliverables
- Conduct manual and automated quality assurance to ensure our products meet business requirements and exceed customer expectations
- Provide functional, performance, security, load, install, globalization/localization, scalability and resiliency testing as applicable
- Identify, track and report software defects and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them
- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and practices to ensure that quality standards are met in the context of evolving complexity and interdependencies
- Work closely with customers to support production services in an on-call rotation and be an escalation contact for service incidents
Other
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, Sustainability, or Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field
- 1+ years of proven experience in a Quality Assurance role, in a software development environment, preferably on heterogeneous (desktop, web applications) platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Exceptional team player
- Self-starter with willingness to learn our applications, technologies, and processes
