Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Orlando, FL is seeking a Summer 2026 Intern Software Quality Engineer to evaluate process/product performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree from an accredited college in one of the following disciplines; Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- Understanding or experience in system/software dependencies, process flow and development methodologies.
- Understanding or experience supporting System & Software Engineering requirements, design, integration and test activities in an Agile Development Framework (in particular DevSecOps)
- Familiarity Quality Management Systems and Standards
- Familiarity or experience with information systems technology
- Root Cause Analysis methodologies and development of Corrective Action Plans
- Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma (LSS) principles
Responsibilities
- evaluate process/product performance
- interface with software engineering to ensure processes and products are compliant to contractual requirements
