Samsara is looking to improve the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of physical operations by harnessing IoT data. The specific role aims to enhance the in-vehicle experience for drivers, making it more seamless, engaging, and safer through software development.
Requirements
- 2+ years of full stack experience in software development
- Experience shipping features that are used by customers and iterate on customer feedback to inform what to deliver next
- Comfortable with building out end-end solutions. A preference for front-end or back-end development is okay, but you'll need to be happy working across the stack
- Experience with Go, GraphQL, Typescript, and React
- Familiarity with embedded systems and software
- Experience with taking LLM systems to production
- Maintained software products at scale
Responsibilities
- architect, build, test, and deliver full-stack products
- Communicate, collaborate, and develop with engineers, platform/infrastructure teams, product managers, designers, and support teams
- Build upon skills and knowledge across a range of technologies, such as Go, GraphQL, Typescript, React, and MySQL
- Own the operational health of production systems as we build for the future scale of an ever-growing customer base
- Make an impact on our core architecture, roadmap, and the wider engineering community
- design and develop features across a broad surface area with a tangible impact on current and future customers
- build the software that powers how drivers interact with their vehicles, from real-time safety alerts and AI-driven insights to intuitive in-cab workflows and user interfaces
