First American's Direct Division is undergoing transformative change in its sales and marketing organization and needs to define the future state architecture of its Salesforce instance to foster communication, enable transparency, drive alignment, and ensure accountability. The goal is to craft an end-to-end sales and marketing process that nurtures desired behaviors, delivers tangible results, builds trust in Salesforce, and supports evolving business demands.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing on the Salesforce platform, with a strong understanding of declarative tools and core platform capabilities.
- Solid grasp of Salesforce best practices and development methodologies, with a growing understanding of the platform’s architecture and product roadmap.
- Proficient in Salesforce configuration and development, including flows, validation rules, custom metadata, connected apps, and user permissions.
- Experience building Lightning Web Components, APEX classes, triggers, and API integrations, with guidance from senior developers as needed.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud concepts, such as harmonizing and activating data across systems to improve insights and customer experiences.
- Exposure to Agentforce or other AI-driven Salesforce tools, with an interest in learning how agentic AI can enhance data workflows and automate customer or internal processes.
- Working knowledge of data integration tools and patterns, and experience connecting Salesforce with other enterprise systems and data sources.
Responsibilities
- Configure and customize Salesforce Financial Services Cloud to support evolving business and operational needs within the Direct Division.
- Design and implement scalable technical solutions following a “configuration-before-code” philosophy to maximize maintainability and agility.
- Integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems and tools, ensuring seamless data consistency, integrity, and adaptability across platforms.
- Leverage Agentforce and Data Cloud to design intelligent workflows and AI-driven automations that enable contextual insights and predictive decision-making.
- Develop and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWCs) and custom applications that enhance user productivity, engagement, and experience.
- Build and maintain custom Apex classes, triggers, and controllers to extend Salesforce functionality where declarative options are not sufficient.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, proactively identifying and resolving technical issues to ensure reliability and scalability.
