Google is looking to enhance the developer experience for Search feature development by identifying and building effective solutions to solve developer pain points, address technical problems, and develop innovative solutions that enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of the Search platform, particularly leveraging Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI).
Requirements
- Experience programming in one or more of the following languages: Ruby, Python, Java, C++.
- Experience with Large Language Model (LLM) or Gen-AI tools to deliver productivity improvements.
- Experience with Model life cycle management.
- Experience with test automation development.
- Experience with Engineering Tools and Infrastructure.
- Experience with software design, testing, and launching software products.
Responsibilities
- Identify and build effective solutions to solve developer pain points for Search feature development.
- Lead technical initiatives, driving projects from conception to launch in collaboration with cross-functional teams across Search.
- Address technical problems and develop innovative solutions that enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of Search platform.
- Build the critical infrastructure and tools that empower 6,000+ Search engineers to develop and ship code with unprecedented velocity and high reliability using GenAI.
- Reimagining what it means to search for information – any way and anywhere.
- Solve complex engineering challenges and expand our infrastructure, while maintaining a universally accessible and useful experience that people around the world rely on.
