Modern Government Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software systems for Department of Defense (DoD) and international customers, specifically for advanced radar and threat simulator systems.
Requirements
- Experience working with Embedded, Hardware controls and/or Real-time systems.
- Experience working with Linux and Windows Environments.
- Software development experience with C/C++ and C-Sharp/.Net.
- Experience working with Instrumentation or Tracking Radars
- Experience with Radar systems.
- Experience working with the following: Qt Creator, Visual Studio, Git, GitLab, GitHub, Google Test, CxxTest, xUnit, CMake.
- Software Development experience with continuous integration, test-driven development.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software systems.
- Support Department of Defense (DoD) and international customers by planning, implementing and testing systems and software for advanced radar and threat simulator systems.
- Specialize in the development of advanced radar systems and radar related products for the DoD and other U.S. Government agencies.
- Involve all phases of development from requirements generation through hardware and software design, fabrication, integration and test.
Other
- Active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Generally, 4-10 years of related software development experience
- Experience leading small teams and projects.
- Strong math background, with strong analytical skills.
