Booz Allen is looking for a software engineer to develop software and systems from vision to production-ready, creating a system that will make a difference, and helping clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming languages, including Java, JEE, or Python
- Experience working with microservices and containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
- Experience with API development, including REST architectural style
- Experience with integration and development tools, including AWS, Bitbucket, and Jenkins
- Experience with backend frameworks, such as Spring Framework or Spring Boot
- Experience with Linux OS and command line interface
- Experience with Open Systems Architecture design principles
Responsibilities
- Develop software and systems from vision to production-ready
- Use passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements
- Help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies
- Make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements
- Support systems engineering efforts in system design, solution engineering, and software development
- Work with microservices and containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
- Develop APIs, including REST architectural style

- Top Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Compliant Certification, including Security+ or CISSP within 6 months of start date
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
