OM Group, Inc. is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and integration of sophisticated software systems for DoD and Intelligence Community programs, ensuring secure, scalable, and innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in web-based application development languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, .NET)
- Experience with relational databases, APIs, and geospatial technologies
- Experience managing server environments, software configurations, and system security controls
- Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements, including RMF and ATO processes
- Familiarity with cloud and on-premises environments
- Familiarity with Agile or iterative development methodologies
- IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+)
Responsibilities
- Lead software design, development, integration, and testing for DoD and IC systems.
- Oversee application development, enhancements, and integration services
- Manage server environments, software configurations, and system security controls
- Implement DoD cybersecurity requirements, including RMF and ATO processes
- Develop and integrate software solutions in cloud and on-premises environments
- Apply Agile or iterative development methodologies in software projects
- Develop web-based applications using languages and frameworks like JavaScript, Python, Java, .NET
Other
- Minimum 10 years of software development experience, with at least 8 years in progressively complex roles for DoD and IC systems
- At least 7 years in a software engineering management position leading a technical team on a DoD or IC program/project
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Contingent upon award; expected to begin in January 2026
- Compensation will be determined based on several factors, including relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, and market conditions
