North Point Technology is seeking a Senior Level Software Engineer to help design and develop modern applications that support GEOINT data access, visualization, and dissemination, advancing national security missions
Requirements
- Proficiency in Web: HTML, CSS, JSON, Ajax, REST APIs
- Proficiency in Languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, Go
- Proficiency in Frameworks: React, Angular, Vue.js, jQuery, Spring Boot, Django, Node.js, Flask, or Svelte
- Proficiency in Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or similar
- Proficiency in Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
- Proficiency in Operating Systems: Windows, Linux
- Proficiency in Version Control: Git
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and deployment of enterprise software and services supporting GEOINT mission applications
- Architect and implement secure, scalable microservices within AWS GovCloud or C2S environments
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers; conduct peer reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Build and deploy applications through DevSecOps pipelines using Infrastructure-as-Code and container orchestration tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps engineers, UI/UX designers, analysts, and product owners
- Translate complex mission requirements into reliable, maintainable technical solutions
- Ensure all software meets IC cybersecurity and accreditation standards (e.g., RMF, STIGs)
Other
- Active Top Secret / SCI clearance (with CI Polygraph eligibility)
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 8–12 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 6–10 years of experience
- Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies
- Ability to work in a collaborative Agile environment
- Ability to apply for and maintain a security clearance
