Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating cloud services (GCP, AWS, or Azure) with high availability and low latency
- Strong backend programming skills in Go, TypeScript, Swift, or Python; comfortable owning services end-to-end
- Security-first mindset: encryption, least-privilege access, strong isolation, and auditable controls
- Experience with identity and policy enforcement (authN/authZ, organizational/account guardrails, quotas, retention)
- Proven reliability practices: SLOs, observability, incident response, and post-mortem analysis
- Experience integrating with third-party platforms and partner APIs using safe and resilient pipelines
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate backend services that enable AI functionality in the browser environment
- Implement secure-by-default architectures including strong isolation, least privilege, tenant-aware data boundaries, and auditable controls
- Integrate services with partner systems and enterprise platforms while ensuring resilience and compliance
- Develop and maintain SLOs, observability dashboards, logging, tracing, and incident response processes
- Apply organizational guardrails such as usage limits, retention policies, and policy enforcement across services
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response as required
- Continuously monitor, tune, and improve system performance, cost efficiency, and reliability
