The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products, owning and advocating for underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure. They build central solutions, break down technical barriers, and strengthen existing systems.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience with SQL and data analytics.
- Experience with different data analytics technical tools.
- Experience with distributed processing.
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance self-service tools to help our clients create and manage robust data pipelines and systems to process and analyze large datasets.
- Develop and improve self-service tools that enable our clients to build essential dashboards for data visualization, A/B testing, and analytics.
- Work with our clients to understand their analytics needs and advise them on the best path forward, helping to build out tools if needed.
- Maintain and extend large scale data processing systems.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical fields.
- Versatile, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack.
