Requirements

  • Expertise in design patterns
  • Strong expertise in Swift/Objective-C programming language
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, with excellent expertise in Concurrency, Distributed Systems, and API design
  • Experience with developing, launching, maintaining, and extending products
  • Contributed to shipping platform/products to production, and supported/extended them post launch
  • Driven technical decision-making and software development from product definition to ship for multiple shipped products
  • Experience with code reviews, design reviews, and maintaining production systems

Responsibilities

  • Develop Siri’s next generation of natural interaction platforms on Apple’s innovative devices
  • Improve and build features to help improve overall Siri capabilities
  • Triage issues resulting from internal live-on population, analyze logs, reproduce bugs and help determine priority of problems
  • Identify emerging trends across the reported issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify and resolve dependencies
  • Develop standard methodologies, create strong architecture/design, develop software with velocity, and make substantial individual technical contributions
  • Help to extend products and maintain them post launch

Other

  • BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • 2-3 years of experience software development
  • Strong ownership mindset to collaborate with cross-functional partners
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment with changing priorities
  • Passionate about using new technologies to solve real problems and to improve the state of intelligent assistants
