The team needs to ensure these products can seamlessly and efficiently handle tasks, and they are responsible for crafting and building the technology that fuels Apple's devices. The core problem is to find corner-case hardware bugs by breaking Apple Silicon with a bare metal system level SW suite.
Requirements
- SOC and CPU knowledge
- Micro-architecture
- Memory hierarchy
- Interrupt and DMA
- C/C++ language programming, Assembly is a plus
- Understanding of embedded programming and hardware-software interfaces
Responsibilities
- Develop SoC and CPU directed and random tests
- Debug issues pre-silicon or post-silicon
- Develop and maintain system-level SW platform.
- Work with designers and architects to accomplish validation goals.
