Under Armour is looking to shape the technical landscape of its digital platforms, including e-commerce, inventory, retail, and omni-channel experiences, by designing and implementing secure, scalable, and innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • Expertise in JavaScript with 10+ years of full-stack development experience
  • Proficiency in Git and command line tools for efficient development workflows
  • Experience with relational databases and service-oriented architectures
  • Strong knowledge of performance tuning, profiling, and web application optimization
  • Understanding of security best practices, including WAFs and secure system design
  • Experience managing DNS, certificates, and supporting mission-critical systems
  • Experience with privacy concerns, APM tools (DataDog, NewRelic, Honeycomb), Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, TypeScript with Node.js, GraphQL, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, frontend frameworks (React, Vue), and AWS services (RDS, SQS, Elasticache)

Responsibilities

  • Design technical architecture through data flows, blueprints, and diagrams for new and existing systems
  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions aligned with business objectives
  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and project scopes
  • Guide teams on best practices in architecture, integration standards, and development methodologies
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders and leadership
  • Build prototypes to support innovation and evolving business needs
  • Mentor junior team members and support troubleshooting and discovery efforts

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or 10+ years of relevant experience
  • This leadership position involves guiding cross-functional teams
