Lockheed Martin Space is seeking to protect space assets by developing cutting-edge web applications within the Victor Portfolio of Space Security. The goal is to support a critical space security mission by creating future-ready solutions that ensure resiliency and security in space.
Requirements
- Experienced in software development using programming and scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, C-Sharp, Python, etc.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment, including tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience in application containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc.) in a cloud environment (AWS/Azure/Openstack/Openshift)
- Experience with frameworks such as .NET Core, Angular, etc.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD - Deployment pipelines, automated build, and/or configuration tools
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL & Redis)
- Strong knowledge of modern technology frameworks, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, APIs, DevOps, and data architecture.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with an exceptional team of Software Engineers implementing solutions and developing new features for a command and control application.
- Serve as a software developer on an Agile team tasked with developing cutting edge web applications within multiple classification domains.
- Participate in daily scrums, software sprint/release planning, demos, and retrospectives.
- Develop & demonstrate software capabilities to both internal and external partners.
- Apply Software Engineering background to develop web applications in an open architecture infrastructure.
- Work on a variety of tasks in various areas across the mission and collaborate with the development teams, contractors, customers, and subject matter experts.
- Participate in the entire engineering life-cycle as a key member of the software development team.
Other
- US citizenship is required to obtain a government security clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret and SCI clearances
- Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and maintain the required security throughout the course of employment
- Work onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility
- Work schedule follows a 9x80 every other Friday off schedule
