Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is seeking a Software Engineering professional to manage release planning, software release management, and Program Trouble Report (PTR) coordination for Naval Helicopter Programs (NHP). The role aims to ensure the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of software deliverables, meeting cost, schedule, and technical performance goals for MH-60R and MH-60S subsystem capabilities.
Requirements
- Experience with software development life cycle including software verification, problem analysis and resolution, software integration and test
- Ability to read and use technical schematics, drawings, software specs, and manuals along with other technical materials to resolve complex problems
- Experience with requirements tracking and bug tracking tools such as DOORs and JIRA
- Experience with data metrics and analysis
- Experience working on Military Avionics platforms
- Experience working in classified environments
- Experience with data analysis
Responsibilities
- Define and manage branch/merge strategies for all software NHP baselines and configurations
- Represent the software organization on the Baseline Management team, managing software releases of all NHP baselines and configurations
- Software metrics collection, analysis, and presentation to the customer
- Build and manage software sub-product build-ups into our deliverable product to the customer
- Overall software PTR coordination
- Manage and maintain NHP software processes and procedures
- Ensure software team is adhering to documented NHP software processes and procedures

- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
