Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer / Technical Lead with expertise in the IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) to lead installation, configuration, and sustainment activities in support of mission-critical programs.
Requirements
- Experience with IBM Maximo (7.6 and/or MAS 8)
- Proven experience with Maximo ACM and Maximo for Aviation
- Strong background in federal/DoD IT environments, including knowledge of security and compliance requirements (e.g., RMF, DISA STIGs)
- Proficiency in programming/scripting (e.g., Jython, Python, Java, automation scripts) within Maximo
- Solid experience with SQL development, queries, and reporting in Maximo environments (DB2/Oracle)
- Technical expertise in Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes, WebSphere/Liberty, and related technologies
- IBM Maximo certifications (e.g., Deployment Professional, Maximo MAS Specialist)
Responsibilities
- Lead the installation, configuration, sustainment, and upgrade of IBM Maximo Application Suite environments.
- Provide technical expertise in Maximo ACM and Maximo for Aviation to support asset-intensive federal and defense programs.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and secure Maximo environments, ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity and IT standards.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers/administrators, fostering technical growth and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with program stakeholders to design and deliver integrations with enterprise systems (ERP, GIS, SSO, etc.).
- Document processes, configurations, and solutions to support sustainment and audits.
- Serve as the primary SME for Maximo architecture, integrations, and lifecycle management
