Lockheed Martin Space is seeking software developers to support the Artemis IV mission for the Orion Program. This role will focus on updating Orion's flight software capabilities due to contractual updates with NASA, specifically for the Timeline Vehicle Manager (TVM) flight software, to interface with new upgrades and payloads for lunar missions.
Requirements
- Experience with python scripting and C++ development
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Gitlab and Perforce/Swarm
- Experience with unit testing and simulated test environments for flight software verification testing
- Previous Flight Software or Simulation Software Experience
- Experience with automated software tests and continuous integration systems
- Experience with remote virtual machine or containerized build environments
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps processes and culture (inclusive of Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence)
Responsibilities
- Perform analysis, design, development, testing deployment and lifecycle support for Orion Software Baselines across 3 missions
- Work full software lifecycle impacts for updating Orion flight software to properly interface with SLS Block 1B upgrade, Co-Manifested Payloads (CPLs), and Gateway; including software systems engineering support, requirements, software design, implementation (code & unit test), CI/CD support, integration and verification testing, and validation
- Contribute on a highly motivated, collaborative, and dedicated flight software (FSW) team who specifically support the Artemis IV mission
- Incorporate lessons learned from prior Orion missions to adopt new efficiencies that can be leveraged for Artemis IV FSW development & processes

- Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
- The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510.
