Findhelp is looking to improve its platform by developing new features, enhancing performance, automating workflows, and resolving customer bugs, ultimately aiming to connect people in need with social care resources more effectively.
Requirements
- Python (backend and for APIs).
- Javascript/React.
- Jinja.
- SQL databases.
- GCP (Cloud functions, Cloud Run, and more).
Responsibilities
- build upon and improve our platform through feature development, performance and workflow improvements, implementing AI and automation, and resolving critical customer bugs.
- work closely within your team and with cross functional teams to understand users’ needs, receive feedback, and learn about how to build highly impactful functionality for our users.
- Collaborate closely with professional engineers alongside a cohort of fellow interns.
- Participate in Agile development through scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standup and sprint retrospectives.
- Learn and apply technical concepts for each ticket assigned throughout the project.
- Work with your team to break down project requirements into deliverable units of work and estimate task complexity.
- Explore and use AI tools to within product development.
Other
- Undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a degree with a focus on computer science, engineering, or mathematics.
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university with a minimum GPA of at least 3.0.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Must be available to participate in a full-time internship between June-August.
- All interns must be within a commuting distance to the Austin office location for the duration of the internship.
