North Point Technology needs a Software Engineer / Systems Administrator to support mission-critical systems and services for a highly secure environment.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented language (C, Java, or C++)
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server and/or Red Hat Linux administration
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools
- Security+, SSCP, CISSP, or CASP (must be current and customer-approved)
- Experience with Active Directory
- Experience with virtual machines (VMware)
- Experience with system security posture
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software using Object-Oriented programming (C, Java, or C++)
- Create automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, SQL, or PL/SQL
- Support full-stack web development with PHP, JavaScript, ASP.NET, and .NET Framework
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server and Red Hat Linux environments
- Maintain Active Directory, virtual machines (VMware), and system security posture
- Perform system monitoring, patching, and optimization
- Support integration and upgrades of third-party applications and OS components
Other
- Active TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated Polygraph (must be active before start)
- 2+ years of experience in software development or system administration
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment
- Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly (required)
- Certifications: Security+, SSCP, CISSP, or CASP
