Requirements
- Coding in Java
- Building large-scale infrastructure applications
- Coding in Python
- Relational databases and SQL
- Experience in REST API development, NoSQL database design and optimizations
- Experience and familiarity with RPC principles
- Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in distributed systems
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, create, modify, and/or test software applications or systems for various products or software services.
- Develop a strong understanding of relevant product area, codebase, and/or systems.
- Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, programming, and software engineering.
- Produce high-quality code with good test coverage using modern abstractions and frameworks.
- Design and build a highly reliable and scalable, multi-model, multi-modal inference solution to power the inference needs for various Meta’s lines of business.
- Design and build tools to improve the developer experience and reduce the research to production time for ML engineering.
- Provide infrastructure support for model onboarding and deployment to production.
Other
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Applied Sciences or related field
- 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation
- Ability to work from California (if hired for this position)
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
