Meta is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join the Software Engineering (Infrastructure) team to build large distributed components that run Facebook, handling millions of requests per second with sub-second latency and fault tolerance. The role involves tackling complexity and building scalable platforms.
Requirements
- 12+ years coding experience in C, C++, Java and/or C-Sharp
- 12+ years experience building server applications
- Experience with operating system internals, file systems, programming language design, or compilers
Responsibilities

- handle everything from Facebook scale data storage, to synchronization and coordination of large server clusters, to providing a runtime environment for front end Facebook code
