The Boeing Company is looking for an Entry Level Software Engineer–Test & Verification to join the P-8A Mission Systems Software team located in Kent, Washington. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.
Requirements
- Experience in either C++, or Java
- Experience working in Linux / Unix environment
- Familiarity or experience with Agile software development
- Experience using team collaboration tools including Git, JIRA, Confluence, Artifactory, etc.
- Experience with software/hardware testing
Responsibilities
- Supports the design, development, and completion of test and verification of software products to ensure quality, reliability, and functionality.
- Participates in partnering with stakeholders to review and identify software requirements, test objectives, test strategies, and testability.
- Supports designing test plans, cases, and scenarios to meet software requirements and specifications.
- Contributes to the set up and configuration of test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations to replicate production environments.
- Supports executing test cases and scenarios to verify functionality, performance, and safety of software systems, identifying and reporting defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities found during testing processes.
- Contributes to providing test results and feedback on software design and functionality to resolve defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities.
