North Point Technology is looking for a TS/SCI-cleared Software Engineer to support the Chinook Program, a critical GEOINT modernization mission for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility* (CI Polygraph preferred).
- Hands-on experience with: Languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go
- Hands-on experience with: Frameworks: Spring Boot, Django, Node.js, Flask
- Hands-on experience with: Cloud Platforms: AWS (C2S / GovCloud), Azure, or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with: Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with: DevSecOps Tools: GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Terraform, Vault
- Hands-on experience with: Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and deployment of secure, enterprise-grade software in classified cloud environments (AWS C2S / GovCloud).
- Build and maintain containerized microservices and APIs that power GEOINT data and mission workflows.
- Develop front-end components using React, Angular, or similar modern frameworks.
- Implement DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Terraform, and Vault.
- Collaborate with customer Product Owners, architects, and agile teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.
- Support continuous integration and test automation within Agile / Scrum methodologies.
- Ensure software compliance with IC cybersecurity, data governance, and GEOINT open standards (OGC, NSG).

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and 12–15 years of experience (or Master's with 10–13 years).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- No remote options; all work performed onsite in classified facilities.
