North Point Technology needs a Software Engineer to support mission-critical systems in a cleared development environment, contributing to software solutions within a secure infrastructure, backend services, and user-facing applications.
Requirements
- Familiarity with one or more object-oriented programming languages (C, Java, or C++)
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Familiarity with front-end development using React
- Prior work in an Agile environment
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using object-oriented languages such as C, Java, or C++
- Contribute to full-stack development efforts, including potential work with SQL databases and React-based user interfaces
- Ensure secure coding practices and compliance with government security standards
Other
- Active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to obtain a Polygraph
- Current and customer-approved security certification: Security+, SSCP, CISSP, or CASP
- Participate in Agile software development cycles, including sprint planning, peer reviews, and retrospectives
- Clearance: TS/SCI with consent to obtain Poly (required)
- Certifications: Security+, SSCP, CISSP, or CASP (must be current and customer-approved)
