FanDuel Group is looking to solve the problem of providing the best experiences and products for a growing community of millions of players by hiring a full stack Software Engineer to support their TV Technology organization.

Requirements

  • Specialized in backend, systems and infrastructure.
  • Experience and passion for writing distributed, highly scalable and available backend systems and APIs using Java and/or Python or similar programming languages.
  • Experienced in React, Angular, and/or TypeScript preferred for web development.
  • Understanding of React Native and how to work cross-functionally with front-end developers.
  • Proficient in a broad range of data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure and technologies, preferably AWS and Elemental.
  • Proficient with Infrastructure as Code, CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible.

  • You may create or have a responsibility to improve or invent small tools or applications.
  • You are able to take a defined design and turn it into code and deliver it on schedule, applying appropriate technologies and current software engineering best practices.
  • You write secure, stable, testable, and maintainable code with minimal defects.
  • You participate in team design, scoping, and prioritization discussions.
  • You seek to learn the business context and technologies behind your team's software.
  • You invent, refine and develop your solutions to ensure they are meeting customer needs and team goals.

Other

  • Degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Comfortable with a hybrid work model requiring two to three days per week in-studio.
  • On-call rotation where required.
  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
  • Able to communicate technical concepts simply and successfully, to both technical and non-technical audiences
