Lowe's is looking to solve the problem of designing, maintaining, testing and evaluating the software and systems that form the backbone of the company’s day-to-day success through the hiring of a Software Engineering Undergraduate Intern.
Requirements
- Intent to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related
- Expressed interest in/or self-directed learning in Java, Python or related
- Interest in learning Front End Technologies like HTML, CSS or Java Script for App building
- Interest in Database Technologies like SQL
- Understanding of Agile as a methodology
- Proficient in MS Office Programs (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Preferred experience in a leadership position with job, school, community, or athletics
Responsibilities
- Support eCommerce, Stores Tech, Supply Chain Tech, or Data Analytics teams
- Contribute and add value to an enterprise-caliber engineering team
- Work on hands-on projects that make meaningful contributions to our business and communities
- Collaborate with industry experts across our stores, distribution centers, and corporate offices
- Gain practical experience through real-world retail operations
- Participate in a 10-week summer internship program
- Work directly with industry experts
Other
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA required
- Strong collaborative, innovative, problem solving, organizational and communication skills are required
- Intent to pursue a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027
- Preferred experience in a leadership position
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
