Lockheed Martin is looking for a Software Engineer to work on the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program, specifically on the THAAD Missile Test Equipment (MTE) team, to maintain and support production missile test consoles and remote, ruggedized test consoles.
Requirements
- Recent coding experience with C-Sharp or C/C++ and one or more of the following: Java, JavaScript, Python, Perl, XML, MATLAB, SQL, LabVIEW, TestStand.
- Active DOD Secret clearance.
- Familiarity with the THAAD weapon system.
- Proficient in multiplatform test console design, integration and test.
- Hands-on lab experience, including integration or systems engineering experience.
- Experience in Agile software development.
- Experience with GIT, Subversion, JIRA, BitBucket, Gitlab, Jenkins.
Responsibilities
- Work on software design, development, test and maintenance for the THAAD missile test consoles.
- Develop, integrate, maintain and document software as defined by technical leadership.
- Diagnose root cause for issues found during missile testing and deploy software updates to resolve the issue.
- Support planning, execution, and coordination of software development activities.
- Adhere to or define appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
- Rapidly design, implement, document and deploy robust software solutions.
- Provide occasional 24x7 on-site support to mission critical systems and user support.
