United Medical Imaging Healthcare (UMIH) is seeking to enhance its radiology business workflow by integrating AI/ML models to improve diagnostic processes and support existing production applications.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Angular (Angular 8+ and TypeScript) for front-end development and ASP.Net Core (C-Sharp) for back-end API development.
- Familiarity with building RESTful Web APIs and using frameworks like Entity Framework or ADO.Net.
- Strong experience with MS SQL Server, including designing relational schemas and writing efficient SQL queries/stored procedures.
- Experience integrating at least one AI or machine learning model into an application or workflow.
- Knowledge of healthcare data security and compliance standards – especially HIPAA regulations and SOC 2 Type II controls – and experience developing compliant systems is highly preferred.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills to support production systems and resolve technical issues quickly.
- Ability to optimize performance across the stack.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement responsive user interfaces using Angular* (TypeScript), creating a sleek and intuitive UI for radiology workflow tools.
- Develop and maintain robust back-end services and RESTful APIs using ASP.Net Core (C-Sharp) to power the web applications and integrate with other systems.
- Design and optimize database schemas, stored procedures, and queries on Microsoft SQL Server for efficient, high-volume data storage and retrieval.
- Integrate machine learning/AI models into the radiology workflow applications, and manage these integrations (monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the AI systems in production)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to seamlessly embed AI tools into clinical workflow and improve patient care.
- Monitor and support existing production applications, debugging issues and deploying updates or enhancements to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement strict security best practices (encryption, masking, access controls) to protect patient health information and ensure all software is HIPAA-compliant
Other
- 3+ years of hands-on software development experience in full-stack web application development (mid-level).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
- Comfortable translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and working with radiologists/clinical staff when integrating new tools.
