Responsibilities
- Write and modify complex software application programs.
- Provide technology expertise and delivery accountability for solutions for multiple concurrent projects or programs within an application family.
- Ensure quality of technology delivery of multiple vendor's technology solutions for multiple concurrent projects or programs for an application family.
- Partner with architects to set direction for maturing use of/retiring/adding technology components.
- Set direction for mature technology associated with the team, a key aspect of which is tech debt removal when possible.
- Identify and implement process enhancement opportunities associated with supporting the application area.
- Continually improve upon current monitoring both in production and non-production environments.
Other
- Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, computer engineering, or closely related field plus four years of experience in Java application development
- Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, computer engineering, or closely related field plus five years of experience in Java application development
- Hybrid work schedule
- Internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload
- Must be able to work in a tobacco-free environment
