Accenture Federal Services (AFS) is looking to hire Software Engineering Analysts to help the U.S. federal government make the nation stronger, safer, and better for all by building mission-critical solutions and reinventing how federal agencies operate and deliver greater value.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in programming languages and familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Coursework or hands-on experience in multiple programming languages, modern frameworks, architectures, databases, cloud platforms, and AI/ML.
- Experience with full-stack development frameworks and knowledge of secure coding practices and software testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with AI frameworks and exposure to Agentic AI concepts or autonomous system design.
Responsibilities
- Experiment and be an early adopter of emerging technologies and next-generation IT tools, including genitive AI, intelligent agents, and edge computing
- Leverage advanced engineering frameworks such as Agentic AI to accelerate solution development and automate complex workflows.
- Design and build full-stack applications using languages like Python, Java, and JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Node.js, and Spring Boot.
- Deploy cloud-native solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP using containers (Docker, Kubernetes), serverless functions, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Integrate AI/ML models into production systems using various tools, optimizing for performance, stability, and ethical use.
- Collaborate in agile teams to deliver secure, resilient, and innovative software that supports federal missions and improves citizen services.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field, with a graduation date no later than August 31, 2026.
- U.S. citizenship required (due to federal contract requirements)
- Ability to travel 25-50% preferred, but requirements vary by team and location.
- Strong academic track record (3.0 cumulative GPA required, 3.2 cumulative GPA preferred) from a 4-year accredited institution.
- Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
