RTX's Collins Aerospace in Wilsonville, Oregon, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their Test Equipment Design team to develop, build, and maintain test solutions for military and commercial display systems and remote optical sensors, addressing complex challenges in Avionics Vision Systems.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C-Sharp: Solid understanding of C-Sharp programming language, including object-oriented principles and core .NET technologies.
- Familiarity with .NET Framework/ASP.NET: Basic experience with .NET Framework or ASP.NET for applications and services.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
- Basic knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
- Demonstrated experience through academic projects or personal work involving C-Sharp and .NET technologies.
- Knowledge of additional C-Sharp frameworks or libraries (e.g., Entity Framework, WPF).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software engineers to design, develop, and test software applications.
- Assist in the implementation of new features and enhancements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues, providing solutions and improvements.
- Document development processes, code changes, and software architecture.
- Engage with the team in meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project planning.
