State Street Global Market's Global Link division is looking to enhance its electronic trading platforms by adopting a microservices architecture and AWS/Kubernetes, requiring a senior Java developer to contribute to this re-architecture and the development of new features for their rapidly growing product suite.
Requirements
- core java knowledge and experience
- OO design skills
- JEE including JMS, JDBC, SpringBoot, JPA/Hibernate, REST API design and implementation
- Microservices architecture and Kubernetes
- Agentic AI experience
- core java 17+/21/25 and JEE technologies such as concurrency including but not limited to database transactions, SpringBoot 3.2 +/3.5, JDBC/Hibernate/JPA etc.
- data modeling and database development (SQL, PL/SQL)
Responsibilities
- Work with the team to define high-level technical requirements and architecture for the back-end services.
- Develop new application features and enhance existing ones.
- Work with other teams for deployment, testing, training and production support.
- Integration with front-end development/services.
- Ensure that development, coding, privacy and security standards are adhered to at all times.
