State Street's Retiree Services business unit needs to design, build, test, deploy, and support Web and Unix applications. This role is crucial for delivering large development initiatives and managing 24/7 production support across time zones in a fast-paced development environment.
Requirements
- Proficient in Java, J2EE, Servlet, JSP, Struts and JDBC
- Familiarity with Google MUI and FDC3
- Familiarity with Github copilot and Agentic AI
- Proficient in ReactjS, JavaScript, HTML, XML(SAX & DOM parsers) and SOAP XML processing
- Experience in relational databases including Oracle, PL/SQL and Stored Procedures
- Experience in Github and other source codes systems.
- Extensive Experience with UNIX and UNIX ksh scripts
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and test web based applications
- Ownership and accountability of applications along with upstream and downstream integrations and successful implementation large and complex projects
- Analyze, design, develop, test, document and implement large software deliverables.
- Develop or modifies complex software that is optimized for performance.
- Maintains and supports existing software applications.
- Identifies and resolves complex application issues and bugs.
- Execute resiliency, Lifecycle and technology projects (ex: DR fail and stay, Refactor unsupported software)

- Extensive domain experience in retiree services payment processing including tax domain expertise.
- Work closely with the Product Owners and others on requirements analysis, planning, project management, and execution.
- Must be able to analyze/translate business requirements into technical specifications and design effective technical solutions and execute projects to successful completion within budget and timeline.
