State Street is looking for a Senior application Java/J2EE/Cloud native development lead to design, build, test, deploy and support Web and Unix applications for the Retiree Services business unit. This role is crucial for driving the company's digital transformation and expanding business capabilities using advanced technologies.
Requirements
- Proficient in Java, J2EE, ServletS, JSP, Struts, Spring boot, Micro Services and cloud native application development
- Proficient in JavaScript, ReactJS, HTML, XML(SAX & DOM parsers) and SOAP XML processing
- Experience in relational databases including Oracle, PL/SQL and Stored Procedures
- Experience in Github and other source codes systems.
- Extensive Experience with UNIX and UNIX ksh scripts
- Familiarity with SOA concepts, Design Patterns, Web Services and Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with Google MUI and FDC3
Responsibilities
- Lead team to analyze, design, develop, test, document and implement large software deliverables.
- Lead team to develop or modifies complex software that is optimized for performance.
- Lead team to maintains and supports existing software applications.
- Identifies and resolves complex application issues and bugs.
- Must be able to analyze/translate business requirements into technical specifications and design effective technical solutions and execute projects to successful completion within budget and timeline.
- Lead team to meet or exceed pre-defined SLAs.
- Execute resiliency, Lifecycle and technology projects (ex: DR fail and stay, Refactor unsupported software)

- Lead team of senior development resources across time zones
- Ownership and accountability of applications along with upstream and downstream integrations and successful implementation large and complex projects
- Extensive domain experience in retiree services payment processing including tax domain expertise.
- Work closely with the Product Owners and others on requirements analysis, planning, project management, and execution.
- Proven problem solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
