Microsoft Cloud is looking to solve the problem of incident and outage mitigation efficiency, and to boost the productivity of on-call engineers across Microsoft by delivering AI-powered solutions and experiences in IcM Incident Management Service
Requirements
- Coding experience in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Experiences in building, evaluating and optimizing AI models, experience with Prompt and Context Engineering
- Experience with AI/ML technologies
- Experience in developing solutions with Microsoft Azure
- Understanding and knowledge about big data and writing queries with Kusto/KQL
- Experience with one or more cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, etc.)
- Experience with developing enterprise-level solutions with AI/ML technologies
Responsibilities
- Deliver AI-powered solutions and experiences in IcM to improve incident and outage mitigation efficiency
- Work on high-impact projects that directly shape how our cloud services remain reliable at a global scale
- Collaborate closely with multiple teams to deliver key customer solutions and the technology to support them
- Participate in all stages of our engineering lifecycle - from initial research and discovery, quick iteration on promising concepts, solution prototyping, and development, all the way through successful service rollout and Live Site support
- Design solutions that prevent issues before they happen, embed AI-powered automation, and turn signals into actions that deliver measurable customer impact
- Build great products to enable Customer Success at scale
- Work in an agile development team, embracing and solving new technological challenges
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 2+ years technical engineering experience
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
- Creative problem-solving & analytical skills to drive keen insights and identification of opportunities combined with a “sense of urgency” to develop solutions
- A proven track record of shipping high quality products or solutions
