Requirements
- experience with Golang, Typescript and React for our web client
- experience with GraphQL to fetch data from our backend
- experience with React Native for our mobile app
- strong technical foundation in computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms
- proven ability to develop production-level software
- proficient in at least one of the following areas: Backend, Infrastructure, Fullstack, Frontend, or Mobile Infrastructure
- experience with Golang, Python, Node.js, Typescript, and React
Responsibilities
- design and develop the core infrastructure that powers our IoT platform
- scaling our data ingestion and storage systems to handle the growing volume of connected devices
- create user interfaces that transform data from millions of devices into intuitive, actionable insights
- design and develop features across a wide range of our platform
- architecting data structures for massive data collection to building intuitive and high-performing data analytics on web and mobile platforms
- work on the critical infrastructure that supports our React Native application
- design, develop, and maintain all on-device software for Samsara's hardware products
Other
- You will complete a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science between Spring/Summer/Fall 2027 or Winter 2028.
- This internship can be a remote or in-person hybrid requiring 3 days per week in our San Francisco, CA office and 2 days working remotely.
