Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is looking to solve complex problems in the aerospace and defense industry, specifically in the Strategic Nuclear Deterrence domains, by developing and enhancing software applications and products.
Requirements
- Experience with Agile development practices
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Git)
- Experience developing for Linux platforms
- Object oriented design and UML modelling
- Understanding of Virtual Machines
- Understanding of Containers and Containers orchestration.
- Understanding of microservices.
Responsibilities
- Modify/create engineering design documentation.
- Debug and integrate software components.
- Support and enhance existing software products as necessary.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, Testers, Hardware Engineers, and Project Engineers.
- Design, develop, implement, test, and debug software applications
- Drive and self-motivation
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Other
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite at the Richardson, TX facility
- Relocation may be eligible for this role
