Badger Meter is looking for a Software Engineering Intern to contribute to software development and implementation of test applications, coding, and debugging new software or making enhancements to existing software for internal and external customers.
Requirements
- Programming experience in Python, C-Sharp, JavaScript, or other object-oriented languages
- React experience
- AWS or cloud systems preferred
- Knowledgeable of software development concepts, process, and tools
- Intermediate computer/technical skills in Microsoft products
Responsibilities
- Software development & design, (installing, configuring, testing), project plans and verification
- Maintaining and upgrading existing software applications written in different programming languages (Python, JavaScript, C, C++, VB6, VB.NET)
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Investigate customer issues for software performance to identify product solutions
- write programs according to given specifications using tools like JIRA, Git, AWS and languages like Python, JavaScript or C-Sharp.

- Currently a sophomore pursuing an undergrad Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related field
