RTX is looking for Software Engineering Interns to support their Advanced Technology Development project teams in Burnsville, MN. The interns will contribute to the technical design and test of Software items, perform design reviews, and implement solutions in near real time for avionic connectivity products and future commercial sensor products.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with digital signal processing concepts such as Fourier Transforms, digital filter design, etc.
  • Experience developing signal processing and / or AI/ML algorithms in Matlab or Python.
  • Experience with AI/ML development packages such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Matlab Deep Learning Toolbox, etc.
  • Experience with embedded software development in C, and / or Windows application development in C-Sharp.

Responsibilities

  • You will contribute to the technical design and test of Software items as required.
  • You will perform design reviews and implement solutions in near real time!
  • You will gain experience in software level integration and testing.
  • You will work on a collaborative team focused on avionic connectivity products.
  • You will gain hands-on experience with future commercial sensor products.
  • You will learn rapid prototyping and “fail-fast” mentality.
  • You will receive mentorship from experienced integrated product team comprising of EE, SW, ME, and Optical Engineers.

Other

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • This role is onsite, in Burnsville, MN.
  • This role may be eligible for relocation.
