Renesas is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to contribute to the development of innovative software solutions supporting their digital multiphase power controllers, aiming to improve user experiences through digitalization and innovation.
Requirements
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Familiarity or experience with C++ is preferred.
- Knowledge of SQL databases is a plus.
- Understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Exposure to Linux/Unix environments.
- Interest in software development that spans a spectrum from low-level C code to high-level web/UI code.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software libraries, applications, and tools for Renesas’s digital multiphase power controllers in a small fast-paced team in a highly dynamic environment.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code primarily in Python, with opportunities to work in C++.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues at every level of software technology.
Other
- Students must be enrolled fulltime in university pursuing a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
