Werner Enterprises is looking for interns to gain real-world experience and contribute to their technical initiatives, specifically focusing on advancing product priorities and building scalable, cloud-native applications within their modern tech stack.

Requirements

  • Gain hands-on experience with our modern tech stack: .NET Core, C-Sharp, Angular, Ionic, Azure, GCP, MuleSoft, Playwright, and Confluent.
  • Contribute to our event-driven architecture and learn how to build scalable, cloud-native applications.
  • Learn how to integrate with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, Samsara, and Transflo by creating and consuming APIs.
  • Exposure to full-stack development and cloud technologies.
  • Some experience in software development (academic or personal projects).
  • Familiarity with any part of our tech stack is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance product priorities and technical initiatives.
  • Gain hands-on experience with our modern tech stack: .NET Core, C-Sharp, Angular, Ionic, Azure, GCP, MuleSoft, Playwright, and Confluent.
  • Contribute to our event-driven architecture and learn how to build scalable, cloud-native applications.
  • Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, product demos, and PI planning
  • Learn how to integrate with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, Samsara, and Transflo by creating and consuming APIs.
  • Exposure to full-stack development and cloud technologies.
  • Experience working in a collaborative Agile environment.

Other

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance product priorities and technical initiatives.
  • Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, product demos, and PI planning
  • Mentorship from seasoned engineers and QA professionals.

  • Pursuing a "Bachelor's degree" in Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline preferred
