Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Summer 2026 Software Engineering Intern to support other software engineers in the development of Java, Python, and/or Javascript, and work with application containerization in a cloud environment.

- C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, XML, Windows, .NET, and UNIX, system software and scripting development, Java programming, web development, System analysis, System design, Software Design, Software Development and Implementation, Software Test, Cyber Security, System Operations.
- C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, XML, Windows, .NET, and UNIX, system software and scripting development, Java programming, web development, System analysis, System design, Software Design, Software Development and Implementation, Software Test or Cyber Security, or related programming.
Responsibilities
- Support other software engineers in the development of Java, Python, and/or Javascript
- Work with application containerization (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Containerd) in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, OpenShift), as well as CI/CD - Deployment pipelines, automated build, and configuration tools.
Other
- Current college enrollment in degree programs such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Cyber Security or related discipline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
