Peraton is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Intern to support the development of their PC-based Graphical User Interface (GUI) situational display application, known as ADIVS (Air Defense Interoperability Validation System)
Requirements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows based operating systems
- Experience with MS Suite: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word
- Experience with Python, JIRA, Subversion, TortoiseSVN, and TestComplete
- Basic software requirements development and software testing experience
- Experience with computer hardware and software troubleshooting
- Experience with Python programming language
Responsibilities
- Office administration support (purchase orders, supplies, shipping, organizing, etc.)
- Participate in software testing, bug tracking, and requirements traceability using JIRA
- Assist in preparing Software Documentation to include writing test procedures, trouble reports, and user manual updates
- Creating Power Point presentations that capture software changes
- Preparing software deliverables – CD’s, labels
Other
- A High School diploma and are entering your sophomore year as a student pursuing a BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field at an accredited university offering a 4-year degree program
- Ability to obtain a DOD security clearance, which requires a US citizenship
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to be detailed-oriented and to prioritize work and meet quick turnaround deadlines
