Warner Bros. Discovery is looking to solve the problem of building online competitive and social features for video games by utilizing cutting-edge technology to build game services that are robust and scalable enough to support world-class developers.
Requirements
- Using one programming language to create software applications
- Basic command line experience (grep, ls, bash scripting)
- Git
- Python
- MongoDB
- ElasticSearch
- Understanding of REST APIs
Responsibilities
- Deliver improvements to the platform that improve game developer integration experience
- Improve API documentation
- Fix software bugs and reduce technical debt
- Be part of collaborative software design process
Other
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior (18 years or older)
- Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA)
- Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Warner Bros. Discovery now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States
- Must be available to work 35-40 hours per week in a hybrid capacity for the full duration of the program
